I can't get online!
For Chromebooks and WiFi devices:
If the computer is saying it does not have a connection, double check you're connecting to the right WiFi network, this will usually be one of the following, depending on which school you're in:
- ALP Schools LeicesterOwned
- ALP_Schools_LeicesterOwned_5
- ALP Schools NuneatonOwned
- ALP Schools ParkviewOwned
- ALP Schools PierviewOwned
- ALP Schools SittingbourneOwned
Please note these networks are for School Owned Devices only. We can/will not give out the passwords for these networks under any circumstances.
Guest codes are available for personal devices from your reception office (please note these may not work for mobiles which have been identified as belonging to staff members, depending on your school's specific policies.)
For Chromeboxes and Desktop PCs:
Check the Ethernet cable is connected between the back of the computer and the wall. This is a small square connection with a clip on one side, which when fully inserted should make a click, the cable may come in blue, yellow or black, Chromeboxes have the WIFI disabled on them.
